Independent Wealth Manager (IFA)

Job Description:

Are you an experienced Financial Adviser looking to join an established Wealth Management IFA practice that specialises in Discretionary Portfolio Management.

You will be joining a growing and forward thinking team that has an outstanding reputation for client service. You will have a proven track record within financial planning and have a particular interest and knowledge in the investment side of wealth management.

You will have already obtained Level 4 Diploma and ideally be working towards Chartered status.

Role requirements:

To provide a holistic approach to financial planning to prospective clients.

Demonstrate your experience as an established Financial Adviser by undertaking regular fact finds, presentations and service review meetings.

Show the ability to generate new sources of business through referrals and your own introductions.

Become a member of our Investment Committee by demonstrating a working knowledge and interest in the Investment arena.

Undertake ongoing CPD including expanding technical knowledge in specialist areas.

Adhere to the principles of TCF.

Graduate Opportunity

IT Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our team. We are an established Wealth Management IFA practice that specialises in Discretionary Portfolio Management.

You will be working alongside the IT Manager helping build, run and maintain the systems of the company. You will also be supporting the team with any IT issues that arise on a day to day basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Apple Mac operating systems including the Server system.
  • Support the team’s IT needs and hardware.
  • Provide application support the team including training if necessary.
  • Assist in software releases and roll-outs to the end users.
  • Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and FAQ
    resources on the suppliers website to aid in problem resolution.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware and configuring systems and applications.
  • Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.

 Personal Abilities

  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have a willingness to learn, use initiative and work well as part of a team.

Wealth Management Trainee Paraplanner

Job Description:

We are a progressive Wealth Management company specialising in Discretionary Portfolio Management with ambitious plans for the future. We are looking for a special talented person to join our tightly knit team.

Are you that person?

Your role will include dealing directly with a range of clients face-to-face as well as by phone and mail. You will be preparing documents for client meetings and producing client suitability reports together with a variety of other tasks. Your writing and computing skills will be excellent.

We use Apple systems and a knowledge of these would be helpful.

You will have financial services industry knowledge, experience and be studying towards the RQF Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning. We will support and encourage on-going career development.

Salary is competitive and negotiable depending on experience and ability.
